My Violin

I chose you because of your smudged varnish and two-piece back.

I chose you because of the unusual brown case that you came in that looked like it had been left in the back of the storage room since the 1920s.

I chose you because I believe that beauty can come from anywhere and that success is not derived from outer appearances.

Neither of us is perfect. Life has certainly given us more than a few dents and scratches that further mar our surface, but we still persevere.
